this is a picture of angkor wat. its really big. so i cant zoom in anyfurther. i hope this is clear enough. its really amazing and beautiful. when we walked in and the tour guide brought us to this place. i went like..."wow! what an honour to be here!"haha seriously. u have to be there to experience this feeling. its just just... err.. so... AMAZING! HAHA((:

back from cambodia

ok... this looks like a lost empire. high up... most of the building and things are eroded and some are all scattered rocks . maybe its caused by some natural disasters. and the condition was too bad that it cannot be fixed back into what it was back then. but seriously. the people in the olden days are really very detailed. each and every of the carved rocks and sculptures are really detailed and real good!note this: everything is done manually. they don't have technologies like tower cranes and stuff to build this palace. so... how do u think they made it?? no one knows...

back from cambodia

ok... this is one of the spot up the thing... i don't know what to call that but just... ya know... thing. haha. and this door or something that corroded makes it look like some picture frame so we took a photo together. heya! my classic pose! say chese. ok... i look retarded.

back from cambodia

here we are at angkor wat palace! hehe all of us climbed up this really steep i don't know what u call that anyway. its just real high and scary. most of the aunties and uncles took a long time to go down. its tough for that haha. we kids have sure no problem. its really cooling and the breeze was darn bloody shiok! haha can u see me? and my friend xuan??i'm the one in pink. and xuan is the one wearing that hat! i got that hat too. but really i did'nt like wearing it. it keeps dropping...and it has this leaf kinda smell...

back from cambodia

on the way to siem reap where we are going to explore the famoues angkor wat(one of the 7th wonders of the world) we alighted to relief ourselves. on that very moment when we got down that bus, all the childrens start rushing up to us and started selling some pineapples and things to us. all of them were not well groomed and they are very dirty. when i went around taking pictures. i saw that they cooperated with me by posing some adorable poses for me. so i took the opportunity to snap a photo with them. when i went up the bus, i saw all them waving to me. i saw their happy smiles and i nearly broke out.

back from cambodia

this is the living condition of their houses. most of them are built on stilts. when it comes to the monsoon season where the rain comes in alot, their houses would not flood so easily thanks to those stilts.and most of them do not have beds. they sleep in hammocks. i bought one myself too. haha. although i have no where to hand it. its really cooling and it keeps mosquitoes away. thats a good deal. haha

back from cambodia

ok. this is where the king of cambodia lives. he is 54 this year(NOT MARRIED) like..wth. haha. ok.our tour group members were making jokes that he was gay haha. ok. kidding. right. nice photo shot. one of my favourite pictures.
p.s - this is only a very tiny weeny part of the palace. there are more. but i can't show u all. its gonna flood my memory space

back from cambodia

hey! i'm back from cambodia.the childrens there are just so pitiful. most of them whose parents lost one of their limbs or arms because of landmines in their countries are beggars.they are just so poor thing. really. when i look at them i felt that sympathy for them. i don't know what to say. their life in cambodia is so many times diff. from us in singapore. i really felt so fortunate that i live in singapore.
